Because of approaching atmosphere on Christmas Day, we made a discussion about preparatoins to this celebratiob, about traditional ways of spending this special time.
As we all agreed, Christmas gives us plenty benefits just like: meetings with our family, many gifts, free time and this what is the most significant – hope and belief of better tomorrow. But before this celebrity we have many hard – working weeks, fulfilled with shopping, cleaning our house, etc.
What special traditions, connected with Christmas do we exactly have? Firstly, before the beginning of Christmas supper we share with each other a wafer and wish to others “Merry Christmas”, “Happy New Year”, etc. Secondly, this special supper must contain 12 dishes, and we should prepare one empty place for unexpected guest. We also sing Christmas carols during supper, then we give to our members of family a special gifts. What other traditions do you have? What do you do to be prepeared for this celebrity?
The vast majority of society wait for this time, just to get rest and to find some time for family. Many pepole spend Christmas next to the TV. That is why we should remember to repose in this days but also remember why it’s so special in our life.
What can we do to change such approaching vision of Christmas time? How can we use these days to make our life better and fulfilled with love and this great atmosphere, not with TV program and arguments with family?

only thing I can write is merry christmas, because during the discusion was said ewerything what was needed.
Mateusz is right;] I think it’s a quite good solution;) But we can just not watch it – it’s simple I guess. If it’s about Chrismas traditions many families read the Bible or just pray before the supper. That’s all I can say today;]

Unfortunately I wasn’t in class last Thursday because I was ill and I don’t know what you were talking about. But I think that watching TV isn’t as bad idea as you have said if, of course, we use it in moderation.

Everybody is waiting for Christmas every year but this time shouldn’t be sppent alone watching tv so I think that if we know people spending these days alone we should invite them to our houses to share with them our happiness, because I don’t think there are many people who would like to be alone on Christmas and even if they say so we shouldn’t listen to them and try to show such people that those days should be spent with other people:):)

Maybe you are right. Matthew wasn`t such a good boy as you might think. But the point is, that I`ve comment the post in the meantime of the break between the celebration in my home and at grandma`s

I know that I am writting after Christmas but I was looking on everything during them
. I noticed that Tv isn’t any problem if a family knows how to use it. When you are sitting with your family and watching something in tv but concentrating most on your family it is ok. But when everybody isn’t speaking, just watching tv it seems for me crazy.

It’s a long time after Christmas, but I think that I can still admit something. “Many pepole spend Christmas next to the TV” – I know why it happens, there are the best and the newest films at that time on TV. And I think that especially “Trwam” destroys this great atmosphere.:]

yes I noticed that, because I wanted to watch it.xD But I’ve seen in the TV program that it will be on new years eve and if I will be able to open my eyes i will watch it.xD
